| The german "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" means "Best wishes or "Best wishes from the heart" or such. It´s something that you say to somebody on his/her birthday. |
| Made a little skull in the last pic a la Día de los Muertos :-D |
I´ve never been a housewife-type of girl. But I always loved cupcakes and neatly decorated pies. Everytime I saw those things in a bakery I stood in front of ´em with sparkly eyes. Yes, I wanted to eat them, sure. But that wasn´t the first thought. The first thought I always had was: "Wow, they´re beautiful and cute, can I do that, too?"
A few weeks ago I finally tried and filled the house with lots and lots of them. Made them with apples inside, cinnamon and banana, chocolate and even a mexican Day Of The Dead - Cupcake. I also tried to make rainbow ones like in this picture
but unfortunately the output wasn´t looking as great as them :-(.
But I´ll try again for sure! BANZAI!

Now here´s the recipe for the cupcakes I made. They tasted really nice.
For 12 cupcakes you need:
150 g soft butter
150 g sugar
1 pckg vanilla sugar
salt
3 medium eggs
250 g flour
2 teaspoons of baking soda
3 spoons milk
225 g powdered sugar
35 g cocoa
400 g cream cheese
chocolate crumbles
For the dough
You can now put the dough into the cupcake molds. They have to stay into the oven ( electro 175 ° / hot air 150 °)for 20 to 25 minutes. If the oven hasn´t been pre-heated it may take a little longer.
For the icing (example here is chocolate x cream cheese)
Mix the powdered sugar with the cocoa. It´s better to filter it so it doesn´t get cloddy. Now add the cream cheese and mix it again til the cream is soft and smooth. Use the egg whisk again to do so.
If the dough is baked and has cooled down you can add the icing. You can use an icing bag if you want to. In my case I always do it with a spoon and put it into shape with my (clean!) fingers.
The last step is to add the cocolate crumbles for decoration - é voilà !

Waaaahhhhh I have to go now to clean the dishes... saved that for too long! I don´t wanna...!
XoXo
